Please forgive me for not posting the details of the rest of my trip to Michoacan. They will be coming in short order, so don't worry!
Today has been a rather tough day. First thing this morning, we had to say goodbye to Nikki. She has been staying in our house for about 3 weeks and it has been really fun hanging out with her. I think just about everyone in the living room this morning had a tear in their eye. Thankfully, we got to go to dinner with her at El Midi, a cheap but tasty French restaurant in San Fernando. Also, we are saying goodbye to our house today. The family is moving into a new house today. I'm excited about spending our last night in the new house, but I'm also a bit sad about leaving the old one. It was a good house!
We're also saying goodbye to everyone down here at Bagel Cafetin. Sandra and Bere have been great friends throughout this month. I will miss coming here in the evenings to get homework done, eat a cookie, drink a limonada, or just hang out. They are two extremely nice and fun people and EVERYONE should stop by when they visit Guanajuato.
So, I am on my way to Florida by way of my hometown of Atlanta tomorrow. I think it's crazy that I will be only passing through Atlanta and not leaving the airport. But, I shall actually spend time there in mid-July.
So, I will talk to you all next from Ormond Beach. There, I promise I will write about my trip to Michoacan even more.
