Sweet Revenge

Finally, my day of revenge has come. This morning, within the span of just 20 minutes, I had the opportunity to wash a dead scorpion down the drain and I kill another myself. I think he was attached to my suitcase and fell off when I set it on the ground. The shoe was quickly applied and he (or she) is now in scorpion heaven. I even took a picture for you.

In other news from the Land of Frogs (that would be Guanajuato), today was a rushed day. We went to school and later visited Diego Rivera's house. That was a pretty interesting museum. Diego and Frida where a strange couple. Anyway, after our little adventure, our attention turned to schoolwork. Our essays and projects are due tomorrow, so we had to rush to get everything done. As of 11:15 PM, our presentation is still not done. However, my essay has been completed and I even had it looked over by my grammar professor. We spent about 3 hours tonight in Bagel Cefetin (our favorite cafe) doing our homework. We like to take advantage of their free WiFi. Everytime we go in there, we like it more and more. Bere, the owner, is incredibly nice. A few of the regular customers came in around 9:00 PM and remarked that there were actually "good looking men" inside. I guess I should take the compliment. So, Bere took pictures of us working and they will most likely end up on their website soon. If you are ever in Guanajuato, you MUST stop by! It's great!

So, we are about to write off another week of school here in Guanajuato. It's a little stressful having all of this stuff due at once, but I'm enjoying every minute of it. This weekend is going to be fun as we are going on a tour of Valenciana, a mining town in the mountains surrounding Guanajuato, and exploring several of the museums around town. Of course, I'll take plenty of pictures and will report back regularly.

Have a wonderful weekend, everyone!
